Thanks Art,
That was a huge difference, Now the shape centers are perfect and no problem with the number of nodes either.
Thanks
Kim

How to find rotational center of the gear
I am having problems finding the center of the gear for a planetary gear as the pdf does not print the shaft. The cross hair is not the rotational center. Is there any way to pint the shaft on a planetary gear? See attached picture, it shows the gears the cross hair and its center as an object and ...

Re: Where do I find point distance
Art,
I have the epilog laser and the program I imported the gears is Coreldraw. Depending on the laser setting it does different things like speeds on curves vs straight line and small mod gear teeth cuts cleaner with fewer nodes.
thanks
Kim

Re: Where do I find point distance
Art,
I was thinking of reducing the number of nodes as I was cutting this in plastic with a laser. As you can see in this attached picture I manually reduced the number of nodes on one side of the gear. The problem with so many nodes it is difficult to fine tune the cutting speed and get a clean ...

Where do I find point distance
I have been cutting some gears on a laser and want to play with the point distance and I could not find it, has it been removed as an user settable option?
Happy new year.
Thanks
Kim

No spokes on smaller gears
Hi, I have been making some small gears and I am not able to generate any spokes for the gears smaller than 1.8", the spokes disappear once it is smaller than ~1.8". I have done gears before with the older version of Gearotic on gears smaller then 1cm in dia. is this a bug or am I missing some ...

3d Printing with laser
Art,
I just saw the tutorial for 3D printing, and I was very impressed. I was also wondering if you could output a file for laser 3D engraving?
Thanks
Kim
