That is really cool.

I think that a synchronous motor counts line frequency, so the long term accuracy should be nearly perfect.

Hi, Steve, you are absolutely correct. The motor does use mains frequency and consequently it is very accurate.  I have been running it for three weeks ...

Hi I have finished creating with gearotics a clock for my friend. &nbsp;Designed the ratios using a spreadsheed drew the frame with draftsight, cut the acrylic with my laser cutter. &nbsp;Keeps good time (< 1 minute in three weeks) and will be giving it to my friend in a week. &nbsp;Really enjoyed ...
