That is really cool.
I think that a synchronous motor counts line frequency, so the long term accuracy should be nearly perfect.

Hi I have finished creating with gearotics a clock for my friend. Designed the ratios using a spreadsheed drew the frame with draftsight, cut the acrylic with my laser cutter. Keeps good time (< 1 minute in three weeks) and will be giving it to my friend in a week. Really enjoyed ...
